INTERVIEW:
If you could travel in a Time Machine would you go back to the past or into the future?
I’d definitely want to turn back in time, provided I know what I know now. There are a few things I’d love to have the opportunity to do differently.
If you could invite any 5 people to dinner who would you choose?
My answer might surprise some of you...
Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, Abigail Breslin and Kelly Clarkson
Why these five? I admire each and every one of these young people not only for their talent, but for the positive influence they are to the young people of today, when they could have easily gone astray like so many who achieve fame do.
Plus, I’d be the kewlest mom on the block once my kids’ friends found out who we had over for meatloaf *wink
If you were stranded on a desert island what 3 things would you want with you?
One case of notebooks—one case of pens—one case of wooden matches.
What's one piece of advice you would give aspiring authors?
Learn as much about the craft of writing as possible. There are oodles of books, online classes, even night courses at your local high school/college to check out. If you’re still in school,....PAY ATTENTION in English class when it comes to grammar. Trust me, just DO IT!
If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?
I’ve always wanted to go to Australia, so I’d love to go for a visit there, and if it’s everything I’ve dreamed of it being. I’d have my things shipped to me LOL
What movie and/or book are you looking forward to this year?
Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close – Sandra Bullok is the leading lady in this one. She is my favourite female actress of all time!
Oskar is convinced that his father, who died in the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center, has left a final message for him hidden somewhere in the city. Feeling disconnected from his grieving mother and driven by a relentlessly active mind that refuses to believe in things that can't beobserved, Oskar begins searching New York City for the lock that fits a mysterious key he found in his father's closet. His journey through the five boroughs takes him beyond his own loss to a greater understanding of the observable world around him.
The Vow – Rachel McAdams is a great actress. She played in The Notebook as well. Another of my all time favourites!
A newlywed couple recovers from a car accident that puts the wife in a coma. Waking up with sever memory loss, her husband endeavours to win her hear again.

Please tell us in one sentence only, why we should read your book.
Who doesn’t love a good mystery, especially when you get two books in one, meaning...two mysteries to be solved.
Dee Days
Twelve-year-old Deedee is much taller than her peers. This alone sets her apart, never mind the fact she is unable to participate in the latest fashion trends due to the rules set by her overly strict father. Her world is turned upside down when she meets a mysterious old lady named Isabelle in an abandoned skating arena, who enlists Deedee’s help to find her missing daughter Shawna. A series of incidents on her search have Deedee wondering if there really is such a thing as ghosts.
Bonus: DEE NIGHTS:
Summer Camp is so much more than Deedee imagined. She finally feels as if she fits in with her new group of friends, except she doesn’t know what to think of her reunion with a boy from the old neighbourhood. Odd encounters and a case of a missing purple bikini stir up all too familiar feelings of not being alone.
Could it be? Was it really happening to her again?
