Book Summary:
With a pop-up scene on every page, children will cherish this selection of favorite stories from the Old and New Testaments. From the moment Baby Moses is found floating in a basket among the bulrushes to Jesus' stilling of the storm, children will be captivated by Daniel Howarth's remarkable illustrations as each story pops off the page.I love pop-up books so when I had the chance to review this one I couldn't resist.
There are only 5 bible stories in this short 10 page book. When you try to condense a bible story to just one page of writing for a very young audience you don't get a lot of text. However the stories in this book are all familiar so the limited text works. And really when you are "reading" a pop-up book it is usually not for the story but rather to see the pop-ups.
These pop-ups are not interactive (my favorite kind) but were still intricate and well done. My six year old daughter enjoyed the book and has claimed it as her own.
Rating: 4 Stars - Great book for a younger audience

I used to love pop-up books when I was a kid. The funny thing is I still do. :-)
