  3. I think that may have been technically 2009, so I'll go with Dash and Lily's book of dares, so cute :)

  4. Tough one. I'd have to pick Harmonic Feedback by Tara Kelly. It's such a fantastic book; I loved every page. I can't help but name my other favorite Amy & Roger's Epic Detour by Morgan Matson. I thought it was well written and beautiful.

  5. My brain is kind of overloading with that question. I can't really decided between two so I'll add'em both: Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins and Nightshade by Andrea Cremer. Had my TBR pile not been so far backed up this would have been even more impossible to answer!

  6. Great picks Edna! I absolutely LOVE Amy & Roger's Epic Detour!

  7. It's hard to narrow it down, but I would have to say that Clockwork Angel has been my favorite so far.

  8. I just read I am Number Four and I think it might be one of my new favorites.

  9. Top of my list for stuff that came out this year includes Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins, Darkest Mercy by Melissa Marr and Bloodthirsty by Flynn Meaney. Bloodthirsty was really good, and not for why you would expect it to be. Great read!

  12. My favourite one is Linger, by Maggie Stiefvater. But I think Matched (by Ally Condie) is going to beat it. I have GREAT expectations for this one!

  19. Well I'm eagerly anticipating The Last Sacrifice by Richelle Mead, I'm just DYING for this to come out. So naturally I loved Blood Promise by her which came out earlier this year. However, it wasn't my favorite of the series so far. So I'll go with Nightshade by Andrea Cremer. I thought this was an excellent debut book. I just saw the cover to Wolfsbane and think it's GORGEOUS. I didn't think they publishers could outdo themselves, but they did. There was just too many to pick from :) Great year for authors.

  20. Nightshade by Andrea Cremer has been the best debut novel of the year at our house. One of the best books I have read this year that was not released this year is the alchemist by Paulo Coelho, I think you would like it.

    Ok, let's start with
*CLOCKWORK ANGEL by Cassandra Clare, had to give it 5/5 stars in my review. I didn't expected it as good as TMI series,I was wrong:)
*MOCKINGJAY by Suzanne Collins was a highly anticipated book aswell- loved it, although it couldn't keep up with The Hunger Games and Catching Fire!
*BURNED by P.C. and Kristin Cast.Thought of the House of Night series as an average one, but this one blew me away. WOW, can'T wait for Awakened!
*WHITE CAT by Holly Black. My first novel by this author, great idea, great protagonist!
    * LINGER by Maggie Stiefvater- How could I forget this wonderful sequel to Shiver! I LOVED it, Maggie is an artist!
*BEAUTIFUL DARKNESS by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl- Although I haven't finished it yet, I can already tell: This novel is a must-read! I'm in Love with Ethan:D

I just received "pegusus" by Robin McKinely. I haven't read it yet, but I think it will be great.

    The Husband Tree
    Firelight
    Torment
    A Tailor-Made Bride

  43. This is a hard question for me because I'm a little slow on the uptake, meaning most of the books I read are a bit older than 2010. Anyway, here's a few new ones, I really enjoyed:

Burned by P.C. and Kristen Cast
A Small Furry Prayer by Steven Kotler
The Curse of the Wendigo by Rick Vancey

I'm sure Nightshade and Mockingjay serioulsy belong on this list, but I haven't been able to get a copy of either yet.

  44. Firelight, Nightshade

  47. If I have to pick from only the young adult genre I'd go with Mockingjay and Incarceron.

  48. I have to agree with most of the titles here... But some other ones that weren't mentioned?!?
"Hex Hall" by Rachel Hawkins, "Paranormalcy" by Kiersten White, and "13 to Life" by Shannon Delany.
