Bio:

STEPHEN LANGFORD is the veteran writer producer of over one hundred and fifty hours of primetime television writing. His credits include Family Matters and Malcolm and Eddie. He later became a screenwriter writing the motion picture Lovewrecked. His latest produced film is “The Nanny Express” which is running on the Hallmark Channel.
Langford grew up in the Boston area and later attended Emerson College where he received a Bachelor of Science in Film. After college, Langford began working in the motion picture field working for such film directors as Sidney Lumet and Joel Schumacher. Interview:

What is the book everyone should read?
The Great Gatsby.

If you could meet one person who has died who would choose?
Abraham Lincoln.

Please tell us in one sentence only why we should read your book?
We wanted the reader to have a fast paced thrill ride of a read.

Any other books in the works?
White Lies the second book in the Dave Richards series.

Tell us the most rewarding experience since being published.
The out pouring of supportive reviews.  We worked for a long time never really knowing if White Sleeper would see the light of day and you never know how people respond and its been amazing.

What is the dream cast for your book?
Matt Damon and Archie Punjabi as Dr. Richards and Agent Mushari.

What was your favorite book when you were a teen?
The Andromeda Strain.

If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?
Maui, no question.

Which authors have influenced you?
Robin Cook and Michael Crichton have always been favorites.  When you look at the variety of exciting ideas they’ve put forth over their careers its pretty exciting.   The late Michael Crichton wrote in numerous genres and really was at the cutting edge of how science meets literature.

What is your favorite quote?
I don’t have a favorite one but its likely its one of Winston Churchill’s.

White Sleeper:
When Arkansas experiences a wave of rare fatal diseases, the CDC sends disgraced doctor Dave Richards to investigate, and he knows this is the case that could save his career. When he teams up with FBI agent Paula Mushari, Richards thinks he may have found the person who can help him find the answers. But as they dig deeper, they begin to get a sinister glimpse into what they are dealing with—a vengeful sect, led by the son of a late white supremacist, intent on destroying a nation. As Richards fights to save his job, he and Mushari must race against the clock to prevent a plague of catastrophic proportions.
