Interview:

If you could travel in a Time Machine would you go back to the past or into the future?
Oh, baby, the past! But I don't know if I'd be as brave as Gabi and Lia going back to medieval times--I think the farthest I'd risk would be 19th century.

What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?
Dark chocolate

Night owl, or early bird?
I'm a middle of the day person. :-)

One food you would never eat?
Haggis

Action, romance, Italy...what's not to like?

Any other books in the works? Goals for future projects?
WATERFALL will be followed by CASCADE this summer, and TORRENT this fall. So I'm in various editing stages of CASCADE and TORRENT. Next up is a trilogy based on a group of well-to-do young people on the Grand Tour of Europe, and after that, I dearly hope to return to this teen audience with another series I'm concepting now.

If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?
Italy. I love the history, the landscape, the people, the food--it's totally captured us. When the kids are grown, my hubby and I will seriously spend some years living/traveling there.

What is your favorite Quote?

How did you know you should become an author?
It wasn't until I had five books published that I could even bring myself to call myself a writer/author. Sometime after that, I got used to the idea and started to trust that I really was doing what I was supposed to be doing.

Favorite Food?
Italian. All of it. (See question above.) :-)

How do you react to a bad review?
I shake it off and move on. It gets easier, the older I get (and the more books I publish).

Give us a glimpse into a typical day in your day starting when you wake up till you lie down again.
6:40am hear the girls and hubby leave; 7am force self out of bed--and first grader too; 8am Jack off to school; 8:30am emails, Facebook, Twitter; 10:30am walk, shower, housework, lunch; 1:00pm to the library to write/edit; 6:00pm dinner with the fam; 8:00pm TV or read; 10:00pm news; 10:30pm zzzz

What is your guilty pleasure?
Weekday movie matinees--doesn't happen often, but when they do...wonderful mini escape!
