The Broke and the Bookish |
This weeks list is a "freebie". I've opted to share the 10 books I really want to read that have been on my to read list for at least 3 years. I need to print this out and hang it above my computer to ensure I read them before the end of 2013.
Redwall by Brian Jacques - I've heard great things about this series and I'm sure I would love it but... there are so many books I'm scared to start it because it is such a commitment
These is My Words by Nancy Turner - This is one of the few book group books I never read. Always felt guilty that I didn't read it
Midnight Sun by Stephenie Meyer - I've never read it because I was hoping it would be finished someday but I've given up hope and will likely break down and read it
Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones - I loved this movie and want to read the book
Daughter of the Forest by Juliet Marillier - Recommended by a good friends
The Hourglass Door by Lisa Mangum - Always wanted to read this series and never had
Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier - I read it years ago and want to go back and reread it
Storm Glass by Maria Snyder - Love her writing and need to read this series
The King of Torts by John Grisham - One of my good friends and her husband recommended this one
The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis - Read this years ago and want to reread

They all sound so amazing! I hope you get to read them all one day. Happy Reading in 2013!
ReplyDeleteHowl's Moving Castle is a wonderful book! It's a bit different than the movie and I actually like it better, though the movies really awesome too. I've also read most of the Redwall series and they are some of my favorite middle grade books.
ReplyDeleteOh yes! I want to read Rebecca!
ReplyDeleteIf you like mysteries and a little suspense, you could start with Rebecca!
