When the goddess Artemis goes missing, she is believed to have been kidnapped. And now it-s up to Percy and his friends to find out what happened. Who is powerful enough to kidnap a goddess? They must find Artemis before the winter solstice, when her influence on the Olympian Council could swing an important vote on the war with the titans. Not only that, but first Percy will have to solve the mystery of a rare monster that Artemis was hunting when she disappeared-a monster rumored to be so powerful it could destroy Olympus forever.
My children LOVE this series. I think we've had at least one of the audio books in the Percy Jackson series checked out from the library for about a year straight now. They listen to them over and over when they are going to bed at night.
The Titan's Curse is book three in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians Series by Rick Riordan. This is the way I like mythology! Lots of adventure and full of humor and fun. Written for children The Titan's Curse is a light easy read with cross over appeal for adults.
If you haven't read this series yet I recommend you give it a try. If you've got children ages 8+ they'll likely love these books as much as my kids.

I absolutely adored this series, and I couldn't stop raving about it once I started it haha I'm so glad to see you enjoyed it, too! :)
ReplyDeleteI think The Titan's Curse was my least favorite of the series. I loved the whole series -- so much fun, plus all that mythology packed in there!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love this series. It's fun and educational at the same time. I just got my hands on his spin off series, Heroes of Olympus, which I can't wait to read.
