  12. My son is so allergic, he can't even take the shots. They were having to give him a dose of epi every time he had one. I gave up on them. His allergies are terrible. He goes through a large box of kleenex every couple of days.
He is also allergic to all kinds of pennicillins, sulfas every kind you can think of except for one. (he just had to have emergency surgery, and they kept him in the hospital for a couple of extra days, because of this).
When he had the allergy test the spots were the size of silver dollars.

  50. When I was a kid, I had weekly allergy shots that I had to take - the school bus actually dropped me off at the hospital once a week and then I would walk home - as a teenager I learned to give myself the allergy shots to save our family a little money. Now I am on a daily allergy pill with some seasons needing a back up dose. Luckily none of my children inherited my allergies!
